Guidelines for Ethical Student Recruiting Practices/ English Language Academy

Purpose
These guidelines are established to ensure that all personnel involved in recruiting students and promoting the English Language Academy uphold ethical standards, aligning with the academy's mission and core values.


1. Honesty and Transparency
  • Accurate Information: Provide truthful, clear, and up-to-date information about program offerings, costs, services, and policies. Avoid any exaggeration or misrepresentation that may mislead potential students.
  • Realistic Expectations: Clearly communicate program outcomes, including expected language proficiency levels and any potential career or academic pathways, ensuring students understand the benefits and limitations of the program.
2. Respect for Student Autonomy
  • Informed Choice: Allow students the freedom to make informed decisions without pressure or coercion. Offer guidance, but respect students' rights to choose the program that best meets their needs and goals.
  • Privacy and Confidentiality: Adhere to data protection standards by safeguarding all personal information obtained during recruitment, using it solely for legitimate recruitment purposes.
3. Inclusivity and Non-Discrimination
  • Fair Treatment: Recruit students equitably, without discrimination based on race, gender, age, nationality, or other personal characteristics. Promote diversity and foster an inclusive environment in all recruiting efforts.
